Dr. Au has spent more than 20 years honing his craft. He was in private practice in Burlington before focusing on cosmetic surgery of the breasts and body in Cary at Viserage Plastic Surgery, performing many breast augmentations, breast lifts and abdominoplasties (tummy tucks) and liposuction. During his career, Dr. Au has served cosmetic surgery patients from Greensboro in the Triad to the Triangle of North Carolina. Dr. Au's Chapel Hill office is only a short drive from Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Burlington, Fayetteville, and Greensboro. Dr. Au was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Inc. in 1988, and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Inc. Dr. Au’s philosophy is to listen carefully to the patient for what he or she desires. He then tailors procedures with a personalized plan to craft a safe and effective course of action for the patient.
